We were married for a few years when we decided that it was time to expand our family beyond us and our two dogs, however God had different plans. After years of infertility treatments God closed the door on biological children, but not on being parents. After our final infertility treatment failed we took several months to process what that meant, mourn, and heal. Our infertility was painful, but was a blessing to our marriage. Our desire to be called mom and dad has not gone away; it has only grown stronger. We have been led to adoption and are thrilled about having sleepless nights, wiping running noses, kissing boo-boos, and simply loving our children unconditionally. We had our home study June of 2011 and become liscensed to adopt in November of 2011! We are open to the type of adoption; open, semi-open, or closed. Honestly, whatever you are comfortable with is what matters to us.
